  • Pray for the salvation of 2 million Catholics in Africa Cluster.

  • Catholicism is growing in Africa. It is mixed with indigenous beliefs, ancestor worship and voodoo. Pray for freedom from every religious and occultic bondage.

  • Seek God for a fresh fire of God’s Spirit among the Catholics in the Africa Cluster.

  • Ask God to remove every wrong understanding and false beliefs from their lives that is blocking them from accepting the truth of the gospel.

  • Pray that Catholics will not rely on their works and self-effort but instead put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ and His righteousness.

  • Pray that Catholics would base their faith in Scripture alone, which is the sole and supreme authority for truth.

  • Pray that as Catholics read the Bible, the Holy Spirit will illuminate the truth about God’s love and the salvation He provides for them.

3. Evangelicals to grow and multiply

  • Ask God to raise up more laborers to reach Catholics for Christ. 

  • Pray for the Evangelicals to be called to specifically reach out to Catholics.

  • Pray for the Body of Christ to regularly pray for the lost.

  • Ask God to continue drawing Catholics to Himself through His Holy Spirit, and that His Kingdom be expanded

  • Pray for proper and effective discipleship to take place in the churches.

  • Catholicism is steeped into syncretism and it is also largely nominal and secular. Pray that Catholics will have a proper understanding of who Jesus is, and put their trust in Him

  • Pray for a mighty harvest of souls by the Holy Spirit power and the influences of pagan beliefs and practices to be broken.

  • Pray that Catholics will not place their faith in the rituals, traditions and good works, but trust Christ alone for their salvation.

  • Most Catholics know about Jesus but they do not know Him personally. Ask God to reveal the Lord Jesus Christ to them so that they would know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

  • Pray that not only individuals, but whole families and Catholic neighborhoods would come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.​

  • Ask the Lord for the continued success as the seed of the gospel is sown among Catholics.

 

3. Evangelicals to grow and multiply

  • Pray that more Evangelicals will be involved in praying and sharing the gospel. Ask God to raise full-time workers specially to reach out to the Catholics.

  • Pray for the Christian missionaries who are actively sharing the good news of salvation through Christ.

  • Pray that God would raise up more partnering churches and individuals to pray and reach out to Catholics.

  • Pray for doors to remain open to spread the gospel.

  • Pray for the development of tools and methods to present Christ in a relevant way to them.

  • Pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit and for the proclamation of the gospel in a powerful way.

  • Pray that Catholics will be convicted to repent of their sins and embrace the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Pray that Catholics would have the desire to commit their lives to Jesus, and be a part of Bible-believing churches.

  • Ask God to draw the hearts of Catholics to Himself through ways and means that is relevant to them.

  • Pray that the Church of Jesus Christ will grow, as many come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Pray that God will raise up an army of national workers to reach Catholics with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Ask God to continue to add daily those who are being saved, into His Kingdom.

  • Many Catholics practice a syncretized form of Christianity. Pray that they would repent from these beliefs and practices, and come to a saving faith in Christ alone.

  • Pray that the Catholics will be released from the spiritual bondage and blindness, and enter into the Light of God’s glorious kingdom.

  • Ask the Holy Spirit to empower the believers to proclaim the gospel to Catholics.

  • Ask God that Catholics would by faith in Christ become true members of the Body of Christ.

  • Pray that God will grant Catholics the faith to trust Christ alone for their salvation, and follow Him.

  • Pray for believers to network and cooperate with each other in order to reach the entire Catholic population.
